  • HON SHA ZE SHO NEN

SHAMBALLA REIKI This symbol is traditionally used for absent healing and is known as “the bridge between heaven and earth.” It ensures that the receiver has proper consciousness and is the connector symbol to the entire nervous system and chakras. It has its origin in proper thought. Interpreted it means “The Christ in Me acknowledges the Christ in You.” Hon Sha Ze Sha Nen is a Buddhist chant used for releasing karmic debt. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen works with both karmic issues and healing. How to Use In order to send long distance healing, first do a personal cleansing. Then call the person in to mind, through a photo, letter, visualization, with their record card, or however else feels appropriate to you. In a settled meditative state, affirm and visualize the person as whole. Repeat Cho Ku Rei three times, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen three times, Sei He Ki three times. Repeat the earlier affirmation, then seal the treatment with Cho Ku Rei three times and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen three times. Release the person and perform a personal cleansing. When sending a long distance healing always make sure that you have the recipient’s permission. It can also be helpful to arrange a mutually agreed time when you will be sending the healing and they can then be aware and in a more settled and receptive state. This also allows them to participate in their own healing. FROM USUI REIKI The Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (hawn shaw zay show nen) sign works on even more subtle levels. It translates as “the Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you” (leading to the realisation of the Buddha in all things). In Japanese, signs such as this one (using oriental calligraphy) are known as “Kanji”. Symbolic hand gestures or mudras are also called Kanji. Technically Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is not a symbol but a combination of 5 kanji. It can also been translated as “no past, no present, no future” & “correct thought (mindfulness) in the essence of being”. It can affect past, present & future conditions, things occurring at great distance & things happening in a different vibratory dimension. We can send healing to someone who has died to assist with their crossing, especially those who were unaware of spiritual matters during their lifetimes. You can also send all 3 signs to someone who has died suddenly or long ago in a battle. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen works beyond time, space & direction as we know it. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is linked to the water element & has a spiritual connection to the female Buddha Kannon, also known as Kwan Yin or Tara, who has vowed to help all sentient beings to enlighten through compassion. The male divinity of this sign is Avolokiteshvara, known in Japan as Senji Kanzeon Bosatsu. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen’s energies have been described as lunar, often seen as pure white radiant light, having an effect on higher psychic centres (5th & 6th Chakras). This affects not only the centres relating to the physical body but also those connecting us to higher spiritual realms. The traditional colour is white but it can be perceived in any colour. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen provides an entrance into the Akashic Records & can be used in healing both our own & another’s Karma. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen can heal past-life issues or matters affecting our current lives through Karmic patterns. Usui Sensei did not have such far-reaching ideas about this sign & used it infrequently. He called it the “photograph method” & only the very wealthy were able to experience the strength of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. Those in need of distance healing would send a photo which he would use this symbol on, very rarely using any other signs to back it up or amplify its power. Today people are more interested in the Akashic Records which describe karmic goals, debts & life processes of each of the soul’s many incarnations, including the present lifetime. You can send Reiki to previous lives. With the regular use of Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen we may become more aware of previous lifetimes & any repeating patterns which may be occurring. When we realise that there is a pattern linking out previous lives to our current one, it often becomes healed. By acknowledging a pattern exists we can remedy it & move on. According to Doi this sign relates to the sun. The sun sends energy of higher dimension to everything & without the sun we could not survive. The sign connects to the core of the target object beyond time & space & brings deep healing & transformation through resonation with the sun's conscious energy. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen can be used to help sufferers of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder e.g. childhood trauma or help with future events e.g. exams, interviews or driving tests. If you have suffered emotional trauma you may need to contact a qualified Psychotherapist or similarly qualified health professional. The following procedure is very useful but may be extremely distressing. Emotional Trauma think of the event think of the date & age you were when it happened (a photo of you at the time can help) draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen in the air while creating a mental image of the situation draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again as you remember the hurt of the experience draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again visualizing the whole scene becoming different – happier, warmer (alternatively view it as a film with no connection to you at all) draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again as you detach from the sensations & images draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen again & watch the images fade away repeat Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen kotodama quietly to yourself continue until the hurt disappears repeat daily for 1 week or until the trauma has gone Absent or Distant Healing hold a photo* of the person in your non-dominate hand draw Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen over it & repeat the kotodama, the person’s name & their condition a total of 3 times. If you know where they are at the time you can add that in. imagine the person swathed in beautiful bright light (your intuition will give you the required colour) *you can use a teddy bear, doll, a pillow or cushion or just hold the person in your mind’s eye ~ you can also send the power symbol & the emotional symbol to intensify the healing ~ the photo method is known as Shashin Chiryo ~ the teddy or pillow method is known as Enkaku Chiryo Both methods were taught by Usui Sensei. Other Methods imagine a smaller version of the person as your thigh imagine a smaller version of the person between your hands mentally go through the hand positions send the Reiki to the subjects entire being with the intention that it go where needed intend it write the person's name on a piece of paper & hold that piece of paper with the name on it between your hands use your thumb as a proxy, pretend it is the person & wrap your other fingers around it visualize the person there in the air before you imagine that you are in the same place as the person substitute your body for theirs do a "spot" treatment on an organ or other body part In distance treatments the energy often just runs until it's done & 15 minutes is a rough guide of duration. Use your intuition as to how often & when. You can ask for the Reiki to be sent constantly until it is no longer required. Interpretation on yomi root, source, origin, essence, basis, counter for long things, book, present, main, true, real, centre, intrinsic HON someone, person, shimmering SHA just so, this, right, just, proper, advancing, correct course shi, ZE correct, justice, certainly, exactly, righteous, honest man/being, sage, integrity sei, SHÔ (shou) mindfulness, wish, sense, idea, thought, feeling, desire, attention, concern, stillness NEN

WESAK FESTIVAL The Wesak Festival has been held every year down through the centuries in a valley in the Himalayas. It has often been called the "Festival of the Buddha", for each year it occurs at the time of the full moon in May It is at this time that the Christ, the Manu, and the Mahachohan stand in triangular formation in front of an enormous flat stone on which stands a large crystal bowl with water When the moon rises above the horizon, at the moment of the full moon in Taurus, the Buddha appears Gautama Buddha comes from Shamballa and hovers over the stone, over the crystal bowl, and transmits to the Christ, the energy which is called the Shamballa force The force is the great first ray of Will or Power. This force is circulated by the Christ through Himself, the Manu, and the Mahachohan, and then gradually released to the world Although most are not aware of it, the Wesak Festival might be considered one of the holiest days of the year. Part of the purpose and meaning of this festival is to prove the factual solidarity of the Eastern and Western approaches to God, for both the Christ and Buddha are present It also serves as a rallying point and meeting place annually for all those that serve the kingdom of God and humanity The Festival of Wesak is the most important of the 3 Ascended Master festivals. It is the time when humanity receives the highest transmission of light frequency The Wesak Festival is the Festival of the Buddha, commemorating the anniversary of his birth, attainment of Buddhahood and his ascension The Buddha is the expression of the WISDOM aspect of God The festival refers to the Wesak valley in the Himalayas where every year all the Ascended Masters gather both on the inner & outer planes to share in a very sacred ceremony At the precise rising of the full moon in May, the Manu Allah Gobi, Lord Maitreya, Saint Germain & the Mahachohan, stand in a triangular formation around a bowl of water that sits on a crystal. Buddha appears and hovers above this bowl of water and transmits cosmic energies into the water and through Lord Maitreya, to be disseminated then to the Spiritual Hierarchy and initiates and disciples At the end of the ceremony the water is shared by all those in attendance At the end of the ceremony the water is shared by all those in attendance Wesak is also the time when all initiations are given to the disciples and initiates on earth by Lord Maitreya, Lord Buddha & Lord Melchizedek The Wesak is a time of great renewal and celebration. At Wesak the quality of the energy that is very prevalent is the 'Force of Enlightenment', the energy which emanates from the heart of God Wesak is the pinnacle each year where the greatest window for mass enlightenment can occur on a planetary level During the ceremony Buddha sounds forth a great mantra and becomes an absorbing agent of the first ray force Buddha then uses the magnetic power of the 2nd ray to attract this force to himself He holds it steady and then redirects it to Lord Maitreya who is the receiving agent of this energy This energy is then disseminated to the 7 Chohans and their ashrams for a seven fold expression and direction into the world All the disciples and initiates on earth are invited to come to the Wesak Valley and attend this sacred ceremony to receive special blessings At the hour of the Full Moon in May a stillness settles on the crowd all all look toward the Northeast, the expectancy begins to build A few moments before the exact time of the Full Moon a tiny speck appears in the sky this tiny speck grows larger and the form of Buddha seated in a cross legged positions appears He is clad in a saffron robe, bathed in Light and colour and his hands are extended in blessing Whilst hoovering above the bowl of water, crystal and rock a great mantra is sounded that is only used once a year at Wesak. This mantra is sounded by Lord Maitreya This invocation sets up an enormous vibration of spiritual current. It marks the supreme moment of intense spiritual effort of the entire year and releases a massive downpouring of cosmic energies from the Cosmic Hierarchy Buddha then slowly recedes into he distance from whence he came The entire ceremony only takes 8 minutes, however the effects last an entire year

  • Unlocking Wellness: Reiki Precepts for Transformation

The Two Precepts 1. The Person Must Ask – Or you must work on the I AM level and ask Permission We must ask to be healed, and in asking, open ourselves up at the throat level. We vocalize and hear ourselves say, “I want to change where I am. I want to alter my state of existence.” In asking, the person is putting forth a conscious decision to become involved. The request may also be made on a soul level. It is from the soul level that the person asks for healing. As a Reiki healer, you are a viaduct, a channel through which the Reiki energy flows. It is essential to listen and render service to a request of the soul. 2. There Must Be An Exchange of Energy For The Service The healing energy belongs to the Universe and to God. However, there needs to be a creative exchange from the recipient to the person whose time and services are being rendered for the healing. Giving something for nothing causes an imbalance by the unpaid obligation. An energy exchange maintains the balance. Energy exchange can be anything from the stored concept of energy that we call money to any exchange of services between the healee and the Reiki healer. Reiki healers offering services on a professional level do establish a fee. This fee sets a value on the service, which is considered a concrete reality in the thinking of humankind. Wellness, likewise, has a value and ultimately reflects the feeling of worthiness and self-love of the person seeking to change their state of health. Unlock the power of Reiki precepts and discover the key to holistic wellness. Learn about conscious healing, energy exchange, and self-love

  • Who Am I? What Is My Purpose? Discover Whole-Self Attunement

Have you ever wondered — “Who am I?”; “What am I really doing here?”; “What is my purpose in life?” If you find yourself pondering these deep thoughts, odds are you're stuck in a rut or feeling unfulfilled and a bit empty inside. Unknown to the conscious part of your self, you are involved in a big game — the game of Life. The purpose of this game — to express ALL of your Self in a balanced way, and to experience without judgement ALL that Life has to offer At some point, you decided to slip on a cloak of mystery, allowing yourself to soak up life's nuances as if you knew nothing at all. But, here's the twist: you don't quite remember making that call. As a result, you became a mere fragment of your true self. The part of you that you know as your self (your Personality) is but a tiny fraction of the whole of your Self As the fragmented-you continued on, you became further fragmented through more conscious or unconscious choices, through traumatic life experiences, or through self-judgment of your experiences When you judged some of your experiences it caused a great deal of self-loathing, guilt, shame, judgement, denial etc., causing even more fragmentation These Fragments continue to live a separate existence apart from the rest of you The many parts of your life that are no longer working for you are truly a reflection of all this fragmentation All your varied life experiences are now bringing you to the realization that there is more to your Self This is the point where you have the opportunity to re-awaken to who you really are. Discover your true identity and purpose in life with Whole Self Attunement. Reconnect with your soul and integrate all lost fragments of yourself. WHAT IS WHOLE SELF ATTUNEMENT? When you consciously veiled parts of your Self, many higher order systems such as the Axiatonal Meridians and Axial Circulatory System were no longer needed, so they were disconnected and became dormant When this happened you were no longer able to vibrationally experience your Soul and other parts of your Self at your Personality level The fragmented self then had to limp along doing the best it could, drawing whatever energy it needed for survival through the Acupuncture Meridians Whole-Self Attunement is a tool that allows you to re-integrate all the lost Fragments of your Self But before you can do that you need to first re-active and reconnect the Axiatonal Meridians. This will then allow you to reconnect to your Soul Once this connection is re-established, your Soul will then begin to orchestrate the necessary life experiences you need to re-experience all your other Fragments You can then use the Whole-Self Attunement to re-integrate them

  • GREEN TARA SEICHIM

Green Tara Seichim Seichim, a word (pronounced “SAY-keem”) of unknown origin—but closely related to the ancient Egyptian word sekhem (sxm), which means life-force, or energy—is used to indicate a system of healing that many feel has ancient origins in Tibet. This practice is said to have been handed down from very ancient times. Seichim is not a religion, although this healing practice is becoming known in all cultures throughout the world. It has a built-in spiritual dimension. Seichim is a unity concept, because it is now accepted globally. Seichim teaches unity and harmony. Seichim is in harmony with nature and can be used to heal plants and trees, people and animals, and can even be used to help purify and harmonize water and air. Seichim was discovered near the end of the twentieth century by an American man named Patrick Zeigler. He first experienced this energy in 1979–80 while in the Great Pyramid, after which he studied with the leader of Tariqa Burhaniya band of Sufi mystics, Sayyidi Fahruddin Sheikh Mohammed Uthman Abduh al-Burhani (d. 1983). He later developed it into a system of healing that he passed on to others by means of a system of empowerments, or attunements (which he modeled after the Reiki attunements). Various versions of it are now practiced by many around the globe. The view that the divine bodhisattva known by the name Tara has assimilated into herself the various characteristics and qualities of goddesses of the Himalayan regions—from tribal snake deities to the great Shakti of Hinduism and even other goddesses from farther afield—is not a new one. Whether this is due to the somewhat outmoded idea of the archetype, or due to cultural drift and diffusion, or to people’s general inability to keep specific details in mind is not really important. What is significant and valuable is the profound devotion the Tibetan people have for Tara and the genuine efficacy of her practice. In times of great difficulty, millions of people call upon “Great Noble Tara.” The practice of Green Tara helps to overcome fear and anxiety, but devotees believe that she can grant wishes, eliminate suffering of all kinds, and bring happiness Green Tara is typically pictured as a dark green-skinned girl of 16. She wears striped leggings, but only her shoulders are covered above. She wears the many characteristic ornaments of the samboghakaya (the “enjoyment-body” of a Buddha who resides in a paradise)). Green Tara has her right foot extended as if about to rise. Her left hand, in the gesture of granting refuge, holds the stem of a blue water lily or utpala that waves over her left shoulder, while her right hand, also holding a flower, offers that which we desire, a boon. Both hands signal with blue utpala flowers, “Samsaric beings! Cling not to worldly pleasures. Enter the great city of liberation!” Flower-goads prodding us to effort. Homage to you! —First Dalai Lama (1391–1474) The practice of Green Tara helps to overcome fear and anxiety, but devotees believe that she can grant wishes, eliminate suffering of all kinds, and bring happiness. When called upon, she instantaneously saves us from eight specific calamities. The First Dalai Lama lists and interprets them as representations of obscurations or defects: 1) lions and pride; 2) wild elephants and delusions; 3) forest fires and hatred; 4) snakes and envy; 5) robbers and fanatical views; 6) prisons and avarice; 7) floods and lust; 8) demons and doubt; The Origin of Tara In the past, many aeons ago, during the time of Buddha Dundubhisvara (Drum-sound), in the Universe called Manifold Light, there lived a princess by the name of Moon of Wisdom-knowledge. She was a very devoted disciple and would daily set out many offerings to the Buddha and His Sangha. Eventually she generated bodhicitta, the aspiration to attain Enlightenment and become a Buddha herself, in order to help all living beings. Some bhikshus came to know of this, and urged her to dedicate the merits shad created to be reborn as a male. However, the princess rejected this advice saying: Here there is no man, there is no woman, No self, no person, and no consciousness. Labelling “male” or “female” has no essence, But deceives the evil-minded world. She went on to make the following vow: “There are many who desire Enlightenment in a man’s body, but none who work for the benefit of sentient beings in the body of a woman. Therefore, until samsara is empty, I shall work for the benefit of sentient beings in a woman’s body.” From that time onward, the princess dedicated herself to winning full and complete Enlightenment. Once she accomplished that goal, she came to be known as Tara, the Liberator. (from In Praise of Tara: Songs to the Saviouress, by Martin Willson, Wisdom Publications.) There is another story regarding Tara which tells that Chenrezig (Kuan Yin, or Avalokiteshvara) had been working for a long time to help sentient beings. He had been able to help hundreds of thousands of beings become free from samsara, but then he checked and realized there were still so many more beings suffering in samsara. He began to cry, and from the pool formed by his tears a lotus arose and Tara appeared from the lotus, saying “Do not worry; I will help you.” Thus Tara is associated with Chenrezig, as well as with Amitabha Buddha (she has a tiny image of Amitabha Buddha on her crown.) Why Do We Need to Practice Tara? There are many inner obstacles to our mental development, and these inner obstacles can create external obstacles. To obtain success in our Dharma practice, to actualize the path to Enlightenment, we need to rely on a special deity or Buddha for example, Tara. All actions of the Buddha manifest in the female form, Tara, to help sentient beings successfully accomplish both temporal and ultimate happiness. (from Tara the Liberator, by Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Wisdom Publications.) The Benefits of Tara Practice Lama Zopa Rinpoche further explains that through practicing Tara, we can obtain the following benefits: • –we can create a great deal of merit • –we can avoid a suffering rebirth in the next life • –we can quickly attain Enlightenment • –we receive initiation from millions of Buddhas • –all our wishes can be fulfilled, e.g. it can help us with our health, business, getting a job, having a child, etc. • –it protects us from fear and dangers It is said that Tara protects from the 8 fears, of which there are an internal and an external aspect: The 8 external fears The 8 internal fears 1. floods 1. attachment 2. fire 2. anger 3. elephants 3. ignorance 4. snakes 4. jealousy 5. lions 5. pride 6. imprisonment/chains 6. miserliness 7. thieves 7. wrong views 8. ghosts 8. doubt The Symbolism of Green Tara Green Tara is seated upon a lotus arising from the waters of a lake, just as Tara is said to have arisen from the compassionate tears of Avalokiteshvara. Her right hand is in the mudra of supreme generosity indicating her ability to provide beings with whatever they desire. Her left hand at her heart is in the mudra of bestowing refuge: her thumb and ring finger are pressed together to symbolize the united practice of method and wisdom, and the three remaining fingers are raised to symbolize the Three Jewels of Refuge - Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. In each hand she holds the stem of a blue utpala flower. Each flower consists of three blossoms indicating that Tara, the embodiment of enlightened activities, is the Mother of the Buddhas of the past, present, and future. Tara is dressed in the silken robes of royalty. She wears rainbow-colored stockings, a white half-blouse, and various jeweled ornaments. These symbolize her mastery of the perfections of generosity, morality, and so forth. The tiara fastened in her black hair is adorned with jewels, the central one is a red ruby symbolic of Amitabha, her spiritual father and the head of her Buddha family. She is seated in a distinctive posture, her left leg withdrawn to symbolize her renunciation of worldly passion and her right leg extended to show that she is always ready to arise and come to the aid of those who need her help. With a warm compassionate gaze she looks down upon each sentient being as a mother regards her only child. Her emerald-green color—related to the wind element and hence to movement—signifies her ability to act swiftly and without delay to bring benefits to sentient beings. (from Images of Enlightenment, by J. Landaw and A. Weber, Snow Lion Publications.) From the Teachings of Ven Lama Thubten Yeshe Tara is known as the “Mother of all Buddhas.” This is because she is the wisdom of reality, and all Buddhas and bodhisattvas are born from this wisdom. This wisdom is also the fundamental cause of happiness, and our own spiritual growth comes from this wisdom. That is why Tara is called the Mother. And Mother Tara has much wisdom to manifest many aspects, sometimes peaceful, sometimes wrathful, in different colors—all to help sentient beings.

  • SEKHMET

Sekhmet Seichim Reiki The Goddess Sekhmet (meaning Powerful) has the body of a woman & the headdress of a lion/cat. The Egyptians thought her to be the bringer of destruction & in contradiction the Goddess of regeneration & healing. Sekhem is traditionally linked with Egyptian archetype, SEKHMET - the Goddess of Healing She is a leonine Goddess & is the primordial Goddess. Myths & legends say she was present at the creation of our universe. Sekhmet was called the daughter of Ra the sun god, leader of the Egyptian gods. In Egyptian mythology it was she who punished the damned in the underworld. However, she was also worshiped in her aspect of Great One of Healing, the setter of bones…. The Myth of Sekhmet In ancient days humans rose up against the Gods believing themselves to be potentially as powerful. Ra became wise to their schemes & at a meeting of the Gods they devised a way to stop the rebellion. Sekhmet was chosen as her loyalty & pledge to protect Ra from his enemies was well known & respected Sekhmet hurled forth upon the earth from the eye of Ra as an immense, fiery lioness, whose back glowed with the colour of blood. She began slaughtering the human race & rampaged until the earth soaked red. Ra tried to stop her as if humanity were destroyed there would be no one to worship the gods. Ra called god Sekti to mix a potion of seven thousand vats of beer mixed with the juice of the deep red pomegranate. The “blood” beer was poured into a huge pool in the path of the Sekhmet & Ra hid watching as she fell down, intoxicated. Sekhmet was content & never attacked humans again. Ra decreed that henceforward the same intoxicating liquor was to be brewed on the feast day of Hathor each year. CONTACT FOR MORE INFO

Seichim uses sacred symbols to release deeply held thought forms in the etheric, emotional & mental bodies. It balances the masculine & feminine energies of power & transformation & accelerates our personal development helping us achieve our full potential Seichim, like Reiki, has been around for a very long time, being mentioned in the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Seichim works together with your conscious intent, higher self & angelic guides. It opens your heart creating a multi-dimensional bridge of "at-one-ment" with Source. Seichim has a different vibrational frequency than Reiki. Requirement: you must have 2nd degree Reiki prior to doing Seichim 1st degree & Reiki Masters prior to doing Seichim Masters. Its modern history begins in 1978 with Patrick Zeigler, an American who was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Yemen. He meditated often & had some very powerful spi ritual experiences & one of his goals was to find a Sufi teacher. After a year, he had not found one & decided to go to Egypt. While there he spent a night in a sarcophagus in the Great Pyramid. He heard a deep sound coming from the Grand Valley & was extremely afraid when he realized it was not human. It hovered above him in an Infinity pattern & he heard a voice say, “This is why you have come”. Then he was able to let go of fear & open his heart & spend a blissful night.
