It is important to look after YOU first. This means regular self-treatments everyday where possible & for 21 days after each attunement.


The more you use Reiki the more powerful it will become

There are various different methods & the following is a mixture of a few I have

come across. It is the easiest for me to follow but please experiment until you find the method you are most comfortable with.



 


Find yourself a quiet room & lie or sit in a comfortable position. Switch off telephones, TVs, radios, computers or digital equipment & remove your watch & jewellery.


Play some nice relaxing music.


The hands should be slightly cupped & each position held for around 3 minutes.

Feel free to use intuition & move on to the next position when you feel the time is

right.

  • place the hands over the face, with the fingers at the top of the forehead & hands touching


  • place hands on top of head with fingers touching, palms are close to the ears touching temples


  • place hands over the ears with fingers pointing up


  • place hands on the back of head with the base of the palms at the base of the skull


  • place the hands over the throat base of palms touching & fingers wrapped around the neck


  • cross arms over chest & place hands over the shoulders close to the neck


  • place hands above (or on) the breasts with fingers pointing towards heart


  • place hands over stomach above navel with fingers touching


  • place hands over abdomen below navel with fingers touching

  • place hands over hip bones with fingertips over the pubic bone


  • place hands on middle of back with fingers touching


  • place hands on lower back with fingers over tail bone


  • cup left knee in your hands


  • cup right knee in your hands


  • cup left foot in your hands


  • cup right foot in your hands


A relax, allow the energy to flow through you, through your aura & meridians, follow the breath


 

This may be the time to incorporate an axiatonal alignment to connect with a higher meridians for soul & monad energies to align with your physical body energy
