Often, the spleen, pancreas, and stomach are the first to fall out of balance — stirred up by too much sugar, acidic foods, or the endless hamster wheel of overthinking. When that imbalance lingers, it ripples outward like a domino effect: muscle tension, premature ageing, a weakened immune system, or strain on the kidneys and adrenals. The pineal, hypothalamus, and adrenal glands also feel the squeeze.

Guided Self-Reiki Practice for Anxiety


Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Light a candle, play soft music if you wish, and let this time be a sacred pause just for you.


Take three deep breaths — in through the nose, out through the mouth. With each exhale, imagine releasing some of the tension and fear that anxiety brings.



Step 1: Crown (Butterfly Position)

Place both hands gently on top of your head, fingers touching lightly like butterfly wings

💭 Affirmation: “I am open to life and its infinite flow. ”

Feel the crown of your head softening, as if divine light is pouring down and filling you with calm.


Step 2: Solar Plexus

Move your hands to the upper abdomen, just above the navel. This is the seat of your personal power.

💭 Affirmation: “I am willing to redefine myself and I know I am not alone in this world.”

As your palms rest here, invite golden light into this centre, dissolving fear and overthinking.


Step 3: Spleen, Pancreas & Stomach

Place your hands gently over the left side of your ribcage (spleen) and then to the centre (stomach/pancreas).

💭 Whisper to yourself: “I nourish myself with peace. I digest life with ease.”

Feel warmth radiating, harmonizing your inner rhythms.


Step 4: Kidneys & Adrenals (Back)

If comfortable, place your hands at the back of your waist, resting over your kidneys. If reaching is tricky, imagine Reiki flowing there instead.

💭 Affirmation: “I am safe. I am supported. Life holds me.”

Allow your body to soften, your adrenal glands gently unwinding from the rush of stress.


Step 5: Heart Centre (optional)

Place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly. This creates a bridge of energy between body and soul.

💭 Affirmation: “I am connected to Source. I am never alone.”

Feel your breath slowing, your body remembering its wholeness.


Closing the Practice

Bring your hands together at your heart in prayer position. Thank yourself for showing up, thank Reiki for flowing, and thank the Divine Source for holding you.


Take three deep breaths. Smile softly. Carry this renewed sense of calm into your day. 🌿✨
